Art to Beautify and Unite

Art to Beautify and Unite

Whether you’re walking along Belair-Edison’s Main Street or headed to one of our many parks, you will encounter public art on nearly on every block. From nature-focused murals to mosaics of the city skyline, every art project has been created with the purpose of enhancing the beauty within Belair-Edison. Each project has been developed with community support and engagement, starting with the design concept process to the installation day.

View our Capital Art Projects page to take the tour for yourself.

Through the unity of passion and time from volunteers, local organizations and artists 27 art installations have been completed in the past 12 months!  Belair-Edison Neighborhood, Inc. (BENI) has recruited help from organizations like Art with a Heart, Afya Public Charter School, Blue Water Baltimore, Mural Masters Inc. and local artists like Loring Cornish, Pablo Machiolli, Herb Massie, Kyle Miller, Paige Orpin, Mamon Rinkin, Lynette Rogers, and Stephen Townes but most importantly, the art installations seen throughout Belair-Edison could not be possible without community volunteers.

Join us in volunteering for our next community project! Contact Christina Delgado, community outreach manager at 410-485-8422 or email christina@belair-edison.org to learn more.
