Homeownership workshops are a great place to start your home buying process. These free classes provide an overview – from understanding your credit report to preparing for a home closing. Attending a workshop and/or one-on-one counseling may be required in order to be eligible for certain closing cost assistance and grant down-payment programs. This workshop is open to any first time home buyers who are planning to purchase a home in Baltimore City and/or Baltimore County.
If you have a spouse/co-borrower then they will also need to register to be able to attend the workshop and receive credit.
