About the program Belair-Edison Neighborhoods, Inc. Financial Empowerment Homeownership Coaching Program is designed to help you manage your money, credit, and expenses in a way that fits your personal wants and needs. You are matched one-on-one with a coach who will work with you to understand and define your housing and financial goals, and develop specific strategies to achieve them. The role of your coach is to monitor your progress, hold you accountable, and offer motivation and support. Although your coach may recommend various resources, coaching is not financial advice or therapy. The goal of coaching is to help you develop habits and behaviors over time that assists you in achieving your goals.
The FEP is a financial workshop that will focus on home-ownership basics, budgeting, savings, credit and obtaining and securing assets. The workshop is a two-part symposium, running monthly. They will occur the second and third Thursday each month at our Belair-Edison office from 6-8 pm.
